Question Injector Seal Tool Dimensions Help - 05-16-2018, 10:38 AM

Ok, so I am replacing an injector and Payam suggested to go ahead and clean the others while I'm in there. I got new Decouplers & O-rings from the local dealer. I do not have access to the seal compression sleeves to compress the o-rings in stages. I was hoping someone (who has one) would be kind enough to take inside diameter measurements preferably in millimeters and post them her or PM them to me so I can make my own for personal use. If someone could do this it would be greatly appreciated and I would owe you I design/3d print stuff so I can help you out on something in return if you wish. Al I need are the 3 inside diameter measurements, I can figure out the cone if need be. I am attempting to do this before my injector gets here, otherwise I would take some measurements myself and figure it out, but this would definitely save me some time! Thanks in advance

I get 10.04 mm for the o-ring.

What three measurements are you talking about? inside diameter of the cone? where and how?

ugh... never mind. Now I get it.

Thank you! Is that the o-ring on the injector or a new one before install?

And ya what I was really looking for were the diameter of the 3 slide on compression cylinders like this https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-1...kaAg1aEALw_wcB

Ok got ya, could you get me the OD of the seal please? The OD of the injector would also be helpful if you had that, then I could most likely just figure some math and make 3 sizes of sleeves.

OK... starting over. I have messed up the whole thing:

seal:
OD: 8mm exactly

ID: not that you need it but I read it wrong - 6.4mm

This is not a digital caliper!

Fantastic, thank you. and the ID helps as well to make a proper taper cone. Thank you very much.

Looks like the Sleeves should roughly be 9.25mm, 8.5mm & then the 8mm final one. Perfect, thank you!
