Sure we update them regularly. Not had any issues reported loading the EWG RACE BEF though.

Guys Iím new and need help with this issue.
My f30 335i has a different DME from the factory, I purchased the mppk when the car was built in Germany.

Mhd flasher is stating UNSUPPORTED DME 😩😩😩

I think MHD is still not supporting MPPK DME - They will in the future if thats the case you will have to wait

Hello,

since the MHD Beta release at 11. April I'm on the way with my JB4 with BMS BEF (PWG1_RACE_1c.)
Power is so smooth and fun to drive, burble ist just amazing also. Map 1 feels the best to me. Amazing job guys!
A little negative side: last night a was abel to drive a little faster and make the pulls like 0-100 MPH - I got 2 times drivetrain errors No reduced power just error kicks in at 90 MPH when I'am in WOT without letting down the pedal...I made a quick MHD read out for DME codes, you can see them on the pic.
I made some pulls later, then no drivetrain error.

With JB4 Map 1 only (over a year since today, I never got this error when driving the car in the same way)
Today I'm able to make some logs with my JB4 and then post them here!

Its good to post Logs, To Help BMS to identify your problem & Make updates to the BEF to Make it better.

Its not alot of us with PWG1 out there

For you who run BMS bef stacked with JB4, what are the biggest ups with running that combo compared to just JB4?
I had a M135 last year with "just" JB4 and i thought that was mental with a properly set up map 6

Now im curious on what might have changed and in what way the bef could improve the drive.

Would it be possible to have a log on any map, with and without the bef to see what has changed?

Riding with map2 the last several days and I feel like the JB4+BEF stack is WAY more drivable than the standalone JB4 map2.

There's still a sudden dump of torque at around 4k RPM that will throw your head and butt into the seat, and can suddenly swing the backend sideways if not ready for it.
However, low RPM range is much smoother and is actually usable for daily use.

Boost levels don't taper to the pressure level of map5, but I'm assuming that's set by the map parameters.

I installed the JB4 a few months after delivery of my M4 and drove it for almost 2 years before the MHD beta and adding the BMS BEF. In my opinion (and without objective data such as dyno numbers), you can't even compare the JB4 on its own. Adding the BEF makes the power delivery unbelievably smoother and the individualized tweaks that Terry provides for each driver/car set up is top notch.

Add in the MHD flash options (burble, VMAX delete, etc, and more to come...), and the entire system becomes an even greater pleasure to drive. I can't help but smile every time I'm on the road and enjoying a nice leisurely drive, then decide to put the foot down and get that rush of raw power.

Car feels super strong. To me, the logs look pretty good, trims dip for a bit in 4th gear, but honestly, besides doing logs, the car is not really in the rpm range for very long where it dips.

Here are the logs, 3th gear pull and 4th gear pull and the last 0-200km/h (125mp/h). ONLY one time I was abel to get the same drive train error, unfortunately I was not logging at this time. I straight cleared the codes with ISTA and then made several over 0-110MPH and 40-110MPH pulls and somehow no drive train error JB4 is up to date to latest FW (for BEF) and all settings are default. Need I change anything in options?

You need to update to PWG ISO firmware to use a BEF, and may need slow speed CANbus.

Can anyone give me some insight on the BEF instructions? do i just follow the original first page directions? I'm wondering which BEF map is best for my car. does the MHD app walk you through everything I'm just not finding good instructions for doing this BEF. also after all said and done which MAP do you run the JB4 on?

Directions are in the first post. The fuel used depends on the intended fuel usage. Always E85 mix, always pump, switching between the two, WMI or not, etc.

I'm always93 octane pump until i do WMI or E85. for 93 octane would i use the Race or Pump BEF?

I'm just confused so i download the MHD app unplug my JB4 OBD plug and hookup my MDH Flasher and flash stage0 for whatever the MHD cost. after this do i go back to jb4 to select a tune or leave it on whatever map because it seems as though the directions say to go back to jb4 and set the Future Use D to Bit 6. then go back to the MHD and download then load the appropriate BEF.

this is my first time doing this so sorry for being a noob

Hey guys,
just tested the actual BEF E85 map for the S55.

Anyone else having "problems" with the burble option? The burble only works the first few minutes after starting the engine. When I push the car the burbles won't get back until stopping and starting the engine again. Also having this problem with the normal RACING BEF map for the S55. It seems to be not dependent on the burble intensity or duration.

Is there no chance to use regular (no ISO) JB4 with BEF? Somehow my car operated well with it! Never felt so smooth and strong power.

First impression of PI tune is pretty good. Trying to get some 1/4 mile logs and email them.
