Default map5 log - 06-11-2018, 12:36 AM

did pulls in map5 yesterday,hoping the autotune would set things right.

I had this strange oscillation going on, in the start of wot runs, could clearly hear the airflow from the inlets going on off on off and then on and boosting like normal..

I looked in the settings afterwards and FF is set to 5 ?!

could anyone take a look at the log?

Im just using shell vpower99, which is supposed to be E10, but who knows.

E85 is not available ,Ethanol can be bought at hardware stores , cheapest is 15 usd for 5 litres :-/

The ocillation was not as bad with the standard settings, but still it should not happen.. maybe I will do a video from inside the cabin to show what it does.

I will do logs tomorrow again..after I check plugs and coils.

1. what should I do settings wise?
2. should I try spray pure Ethanol to up the octane (single CM10 cp nozzle)
(I dont have any meth at the moment - yes that is also hard to get and even more pricey)

so how does these look:

did a run in map 2 and 3 , still get the hesitant ocillation in the beginning..

(have den. alcohol and water in the meth tank)

map3 gave a misfire in cyl1

also its like the JB4 function with limiting boost until oil is heated .. how is that possible?

added 5 litres of E to the tank.. with 25-28 litres gas in the tank

did a map3 run.. afterwards I got kicked into map4, no codes

and did a map 1 run also.

felt stronger.. I think the problem has something to do with the wastegates
, when I changed FF higher, the ocillation was less .. but it keeps learning downwards .. :-/

FF needs to go down because you are overboosting that's why you got kicked into map 4 the first log on map 3.

Lower FF to 60 and get another log.

okay , will do..

do you know why it ocillates?..it starts boosting,then stops for a second and the n goes on again and boosts fine ..
its on WOT only
if I ramp up boost slower, it does not do it..

Much better to me, I don't see any oscillation in the logs. Trims are pretty far apart though and that may cause you to go into safety. How is your meth nozzle setup?

10 cm nozzle in the CP. den. alcohol and water, it was 50/50 , but I added some alcohol to increase octane maybe 60 or 70 alcohol.

Had another guy take a look and he told me it could be JB4 issue:

WGDC is flat line up to 4600 rpm because JB4 can’t control it lower so it’s over boosting the set point significantly
This is a major issue with JB4, it can’t control WGDC less than 25

how Do I fix this ?..other than dictching the JB4 and go flash only

You don't need to ditch the Jb4, just follow directions. I see your Duty bias settings need adjusting. Make sure they are all set to 50 across all RPM. Get another log with FF at 50.

two logs in map 1

on the first one it had a hesitation at around 3k rpm otherwise it was ok

but it still learns down , and it still does the occillation thing..there must be a way to tune this out?...

have others with inlet & outlet experienced this ?..

also I know the BEF adds to the boostlevel but 18 psi in map 1 seems high?
