Default e85 between Phx and San Diego? - 07-22-2014, 08:17 AM

Hi all. I will be driving to San Diego from Phx. I currently run e50 and I am thinking I will very likely need to fill before I reach San Diego. Does anyone know of any reliable ethanol sources before San Diego?
Thanks!!!!

Well, it looks like there's nothing between Dateland, AZ and San Diego, if this site is accurate: http://www.afdc.energy.gov/fuels/ethanol_locations.html If anyone knows otherwise, feel free to chime in! Thanks.

thx alpinedevil335 - yeah Dateland appears to be it. I think that will be ok since it's ~120mi from my starting point. maybe bring a couple bottles of nos booster just in case...

i just made the drive in my 135i from dateland i made it all the way into sd county then needed gas, i brought a 5 gallon gas can that i filled with e85 in dateland then dumped it in the tank and topped with 91....the VP 5 gallon gas cans fit perfect sitting up right in the trunk just bring a good long funnel for the fill
