What causes the drivetrain malfunctions? F PWG ISO -
03-21-2018, 01:44 PM
I've been getting them a ton on the X3 since I changed over to ISO. What causes it? I had thought it was lugging the engine when the tranny didn't downshift, but today I got it 3 times when just cruising on the highway.
Theres clearly no real problem and its something the JB4 is doing, but what? It clears immediately when you turn the car off and restart (which I do when stopped at lights).

There are 100s of possible fault codes. Read the code when they come up to narrow down what your specific issue might be.

Just did a log. Hopefully we can figure this out, because right now, the car feels better in Map 0 than in any modified Map and doesn't throw any errors or codes.

And it just threw the same code in Map 0. Maybe there is something wrong with the car.
I pulled the JB4 and made an appt with the dealer.

Went to the dealer today. They found no problems. That means it’s directly related to the JB4. Can I buy the diode so I can get off ISO and try again? Otherwise I’m going to try the Stage 1 again. I’m not dealing with the issues ISO is causing.
