Default Some N20 PURE Stg2 Results - 08-26-2016, 09:55 AM

A customer emailed N20 PURE Stg2 results this week. Coming in from Brazil. Here's the info we have:

These are "at the tires" wheel hp/tq results.

-N20 JB4
-N20 PURE Stg2
-E25 fuel (Pump gas with some E85 mixed)

They said "Itīs running with 24psi from 3.500 to 5.000 and 22 to 19 at redline. Fuel is E25 Gas with about 95 AKI (102 RON) Octane."

387 Cv power = ~382whp
61 Kgm torque = ~440wtq

I'm asking for a baseline on this dyno so we can see how this stacks up vs Dynojet numbers.

Awesome results regardless! Watch out for the 4-bangers!!!

F30 328i - 8 auto.. JB4+FF+EWG, OCC, Injen Intake+scoop, AFE **, AA axle-back - H&R springs, H&R rear SB - Front Strut - F&R BMS spacers..

Wonder what this would be like on a 320i on e85. I'm successfully pushing my 320i really fast right now, with full bolt ons in map 2.

Would this 328i need to upgrade internals such as the rods, psistons, timing chain, etc? Would this be the same care for the 320i?

The N20 at 135kw/184hp does not include the forged metal crack shaft and different pistons that the N20 with either 160kw, 175kw and 180kw has as oem. Regarding the chain that was a recall.

Actually the 328i and 320i share the same crankshaft, and Terry compared the pistons and although slightly different, he said the 320i's were no less beefy.

320i has higher compression ratio so it won't take much timing at all at decent boost levels without at least E30 fuel. A bigger turbo will actually help this. With a decent ethanol blend, the 320i engine would probably make more power at the same boost as a 328i as long as the other differences like exhaust are taken care of. A Bootmod3 flash is a must IMO.

I would like to see a full build list that is needed to get these numbers.

You stated N20 JB4 tuner, the new Pure Turbo.

Can you please put a complete list? How is fueling handled?
