Default speedtech 7670 DCT logs - 03-20-2018, 02:07 AM

Wanted to post a few logs and dragy results on my build. Finally getting the PID settings dialed in. Still a little boost spike but I am working it. So far OEM controls is doing a good job can hold whatever boost I want so far. Dynojet at 575/620 but need to redyno with cleaner boost curve (this was with a larger spike). Have about 2K on the speedtech and SSP clutches so far.

its a single cm10, likely not needed just the one I had. Probably need to go down to a 7 or 5. Its only boost juice though pre intercooler. Youre right on the throttle closures, not sure whats going on there. timing is good though, enough octane with e50 and some meth.

@cnm 135: You are right.... I need to back off the PI from the looks of it. I was running more E the other day, now I am down to e50ish. The AFR is to fat. Ill pull in PI some.

Yeah I backed the pi down to 50

I had a meth kit lying around when I built her

Keeping iat suppressed aids in tuning

I have lsd and good rubber but she just gets loose at 22. Sucks. I’m going to cap the boost for 3rd and up it to 25 for some runs tomorrow.

Still having traction problems. Logs look good but only hitting 8.1 spinning through 3rd. Tried traction control but could only get 4.2 to 60 and 12. Have much to learn. I might need stickier tires.

Unless you've already upgraded, keep an eye on those drive shafts too.

Just finished changing a broken one on mine

3rd gear rolling run going WOT at ~4000 rpm, targetting 26psi.

I believe Newguy123 also did the same but I'm not sure of specifics

What did you upgrade to? That spool and peak torque did it I am sure. I fractured the joint on one in my old e36 m3 turbo, similar.

Stock has gone back on for now, simply because cost to me with this option was £0

The JB4 is however firmly pinned on mapped 7 until something changes. As you said, this is probably a result of how the PS2 delivers torque so may not be as much of an issue with singles

The more and more I see the singles progressing the more I'm wondering whether to switch? The PS2 is great, but both have their place depending on end goal and for those looking at 500+ I know which way I'd go now.

I'm also conscious of the DCT and, so far, it would appear that singles may have some advantages.

You say drive shafts. There is only one. Just wanted to make sure I understand what you broke. Was it the drive shaft or one of the axles?

also, are you guys running upgraded subframe bushings. I am not sure what is causing the drive shaft to break, but having the subframe flop around back there with soo much power makes me think upgraded bushings may help.

newguy broke something in the driveshaft around the area where it connects to the differential.
