So I put these suckers in today and the first thing I will say is...Holy Whiteness! They don't have that nasty cyan/greenish white like regular GP thunders or similar "whiter" bulb replacements. For now, I can only compare them to what I previously had on my 335i E92 which was dual LEDs from a member here and I totally forget the name as that was over 2 years ago. These are much brighter and much more accurately white. I will say it is still not perfectly even across both rings like pretty much all replacement bulbs outside of a full retrofit but I think they are better than the all the HID replacements. Plus they are inexpensive compared to most and do not dim from ON to OFF lighting and there is no flicker of any kind...radikus. So, for now, I'll flame-suit myself and declare these the best LED angel eye replacements you can get for your rides outside of OEM and retrofitting based on price and the support you've grown to know and trust from Burger. Also, lease excuse the crappy iphone pics but these are right out of cam and sized down, outside of the one i had to cover my plate.
Installed mine a few weeks ago. Looks waaaay better than the factory ones and are fairly easy to install. The center ones are brighter but so were the factory ones to an extent.
Do you guys ever get any flickering when the car starts? Only during cranking, they almost alternate like police lights lol.
BTW for those who may encounter an error code, check the positioning of the ballast. I was getting a code at first, then emailed Terry and that is what he suggested. Sure enough it worked!
There is a very specific/optimal spot that most users with mini-ballasts are using without errors and obstruction which is on the bottom center of the cover (double-sided tape or industrial velcro). I'll have to dig for the image.
