335xi dyno problem -

So I brought my car to the dyno and the 4x4 light keeps on coming on. Also above 3500rpms the curve is oscillating. It made 337hp and 379tq but i feel like it should be more. What would cause this? Its a mustang dyno at efilogics.

Never dynod an Xi myself but should be fine if DSC is off. You can look at DMEBT in a log to see if the DME is changing around its load target oddly. Mustang dynos are good for same day tuning but not much else IMHO. If you care about what the number is always find a dynojet.

normal... and 4x4 light on too...after run fews miles...4x4 disapear by itself

Is the oscillation normal? Efi said they've never seen it before.

No, oscillation is not normal. If you have a CSV email than in and we can check it out / see what is going on.

On the dyno a couple of weeks ago with my XI for the first time, I did have one run where I got a small ~10hp spike a couple of times and the dyno operator thought that it was the transfer case clutch locking up during the run...presumably because the speed difference between the front and rear had gotten too high.

I had map 3 on a 40 additive. I'm thinking it was a little too much without downpipes but ill get logs. Still don't know what caused the 4x4 light. There were a couple of other 335xi's that had no problem.

What were the other xi's running? Where they somewhat inline with your results if they had similar mods.

I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but a factory 335xi was making around 245whp. This was my dyno graph (sorry about the quality).
