Default Anyone on the East Coast that can tune? - 04-15-2012, 08:26 AM

Looking for a shop on the east coast to tune my 335. It's got ******* dp's JB4 and WW Meth, but I doubt it is running at full potential. Looking for someone to dyno tune it..

To answer your first question I think GMP here in charlotte does....you could always call Mike at EuroWise and ask him.
He knows a place or 2 around here.

There are some guys in Concord that race and tune BMW's. If Interested I can look them up. They Dyno and tune almost everything but race pre 2000 BMW's.

No tuning is really required. Just set the meth additive in the ballpark and the JB4 will take care of the rest. But if you want to do CSV files and email those in I can review the settings, etc, to ensure you're in the ball park.

OP, great place to post that you think your JB4 is not helping your car run at full potential.

Custom dyno tuning is very expensive and the people doing it better be very good or it will be a waste of time.

Why not post some logs to show why you feel the JB4 and Meth are not running your car optimally? Chances are there is a hardware issue or a setting that's off.

+1

I feel the same way after a few weeks of each mod I do. Also had a chance to borrow my friends 500whp neon srt4 for two weeks awhile back and by the end of it the car really didn't feel like a 500whp car.

I sometimes drive around a few days with the jb4 off so I can appreciate it more when I turn it back on.

Didn't mean anything negative about BMS. Just need to get the car running better. Jb4 was the best mod I have done.

Most people don't realize how awesome the JB4 auto-tuning is, and how awesome Terry is at helping to tune remotely (something most vendors charge for) - log it, send CSV, he'll hook you up.
