No muffler summit racing high flow resonators muffler wont fit on are cars for dual axhaust and I don't know the name of the tips they are quad 4 inch tips I'll ale pics now

not crazy load but not quiet at all very deep and sounds great! not to much of a drone a little at about 35-40mph but thats it youtube a 335i with muffler delete sounds like that but not at loud i paid about 700 for it installed

lol i was looking at a used 2011 shelby gt 500 mmm or 2011 6.2l supercharged cts-v with a tune a pulley and header almost 600 whp for $3000 and 600whp in a big body sedan running low 11's cant beat it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hP-AZ77ChGw

Gt-Rs are ultra fast out the gate due to the 4WD and launch control system. The Caddy is the alltime sleeper car of the decade. Looks like a regular American executive express, but pretty impressive underneath. The suspension system is pretty nifty. Both have unique appeal.
You could also get a used 2005 E55 AMG and tune it for 600 WHP. Might be a lot cheaper.

They are in great shape . I bought them used. but before I installed them my machanic soaked them in something for an hour and they were like new inside and out and I've only put about 4000 miles on them from my install and I used my stock gasket and bolts. the turbo spool sounds amazing

Cadillac CTS-V is a great car, but don't think it will replace your BMW in terms of ride or refinement. BMW is on a whole other level man. Take it from someone who has driven or owned every Cadillac out there. My dad sold them for 7 years, giving me access to them ALL. The CTS-V grips the road and runs like a bat out of hell, but has no level of refinement. My wife's 528i drives better in terms of ride quality. The interior quality is also much better. Cadillac has plastic and cheap leather written all over it. A lot of people put blinders on because of the LS-A engine with 556hp that helps them ignore the other things.

Also, the warranty is 50,000 miles bumper to bumper, with 100,000 miles powertrain. Expect that warranty to go out the door when they run a scan on your car and realize you've been running a pulley (it will read overboost). I read how you said "plus, it's a Caddy!" If you're coming from BMW and are saying that, you either have never owned a Cadillac, or are extremely biased towards them. Cadillac has nothing on BMW other than price. That warranty you speak of? I hope you're prepared to use it, every month. I've had multitudes of Cadillacs and the CTS will be my last. Every one I've owned has had a BOOK of service calls on it. My nav in my STS was replaced 4 times in 2 years ($3500 each time, and car was new!) CTS and CTSV? in all the time, over and over and over. And when I brought mine in? Guess what was always next to me? Another CTSV. When they run they're fast. But for the level of money you're paying, it shouldn't be in the shop twice a month.

Don't get me wrong, it handles very well with 50/50 weight ratio and amazing grip, but the ride quality, interior quality, and fit/finish are no where near BMW. I should be a Cadillac fanboy, but after owning them for so long and moving to the BMW camp, I can honestly say I am much happier. Would I drive a CTS-V? Sure, but I'd always know my BMW rides better, feels better, and is a much better symbol.

Oh, and you said it's a sleeper. Have you never seen a CTS-V? It's got "racer" written all over it. I can spot one from (literally) a mile away. The rear bumper is different, the wheels are specific to the V, the GIANT hood bulge that shouldn't be on a Cadillac. The 15"+ brakes clearly visible behind the V rims. Oh and the supercharger whine, which you'll definitely hear more with the pulley. Oh, and the exhaust note will give it away as well, from about 1000 yards.

If you're going with Cadillac, you might as well go with the ATS-V. It's turbo, will be easier to tune, and will outrun a CTS-V with only a slight tune. Oh, and it'll eat less gas. As for me, I'm leaving Cadillac and never looking back. You're taking a step down, son. I proudly say that even with my Dad selling them for so long.

I hear ya but ,,,, the new cts-v with recaro seat mmmm ya interior is great buddy in the past they have been lame and as for ride the caddy will always out ride the BMW stiff suspension ad as for a sleep ya little but I like to show off mine will look far from sleeper when I'm done with it!!!! As for warranty my buddy runs the local caddy dealer over hear I'll have my cai an my pulley and my cam installed by him and warranty will be fine as they don't have any will tuner codes like BMW my buddy's runs 10.6 in the 1/4 with full warranty and 3500 worth of upgrades and tune and I plan on doing the same

They don't have tuner codes, but when they see the overboost from running a pulley it will throw up a big flag. Also, with having to bring it in every other week, you want to have to pull the pulley off all the time? I'm up at the Cadillac dealership multiple times a week man, dad worked there for 7 years and now works next door...same dealership. When something blows up your buddy can't write off anything because the service manager is not the same as the dealership manager (Cadillac is very strict on how that is run). Just wait man, I've owned them for a while. When you come crying back about how bad the reliability is, I'll have told you so. This is the voice of experience man. You are free to make your own choices, but you will see. The magnetic ride control on the CTS-V is harsher than any BMW suspension, oh and when it breaks (They all do, it's a system not made to last), it will cost you about $8000 to replace. Every friend who has a CTS-V has traded up for something better or faster. It's just too heavy, too unreliable, and the too unrefined. Recaro seats? You need them because the car weighs 5000lbs and will slop all over the road. It's good you're friends with the dealer, you'll be spending a lot of time up there. Trust me, been there done that. I know my dealer very well, and even they say it's not worth the hassle.

You say your buddy runs 10.6 with full warranty - that's a blatant lie. All those mods will kill the warranty if the engine block blows. Just because you can cheat the system doesn't mean it's a valid point. I still rock the CTS-V, but it's going bye-bye as soon as I can find a replacement, BMW or otherwise. You are blind if you think the "interior is great". It's something you find on a $20,000 car other than the Recaro seats. Plastic plastic plastic all over, crappy leather from a Malibu. The gauges are the same thing the Malibu has as well, with a minor upgrade. If you were coming from a Mustang, I might agree with you, (which is funny, a 5.0 will run with a CTS-V for $25k less, and with $3k of mods will outrun it left and right).

Give it 6 months, other than speed, you will be very disappointed once the honeymoon period wears off and you're replying to this post from the dealership waiting room.

If speed is all you're after, regardless of refinement, yes the CTS-V is a great car. I won't argue with you on that at all. But it has it's limits, hence why my friend just traded his in for a GTR. 9.6 I believe at TX2k12 the other week. 2nd fastest in Oklahoma.

lisn my bmw has been in the shop my more than any car i have ever own either from fuel pump this,or fuel injector ive had this car for about 2 years and ive hit the dealer about 18 times so much they wanted to buy the car back from me so im done with bmw if i want refinement ill back with the cls55 amg i had but that again 4000 for a pully upgrade not worth it i love interior of the cts-v doesnt look cheap to me and ive owned nice cars as for it being heavy i think its 4200 and the amg mercedes cls55 is about 4600 and as for a 5.0 mustang 3000 worth of work the is no way in hell you will be running 10,s may be with about 6k you'll get close and as for somthin going wrong the set my buddy has was done kdi inovation and his set up is a mild one that is a reliable dealy driver and he has had no probs yet and as for my buddy he is there service manager and his uncle ownes the dealer so he has mad pull cts-v here i come still love the n54.s tho but m series can kiss my @ss

and another thing is that at the "bmw camp" lol you will come to realize how many bmw owner are d*ckheads and think that there sh*T cause they have money and own a beemer same with mercedes guy but not as much as beemer and im not talkin about n54 club more the m series and i cant stand that cause i grew up with nothing and at 23 i own a business that pays me enough to owne pritty much any car i want the only reason i dont go get a crazy car payment for a brand new gt-r is that i payed 100,000 almost for my cls55 new and the payments were cray high and the car was boring to me over priced to mod it so i vowed to only buy cpo cars from now on and mod them and ive talked to mad cts-v owners and they are very nice and wiling the help and cts-v's evan get respect from the vet guys and those guys are major d*cks lol so maybe if i didnt have such probs with my 535i i would stay but chnge is good some times so ima try the cts-v an if its no good ill get somthin else you what they say "to each his own " my friend
