Finally making some good progress on our C250 intake production. Hopefully just a couple more weeks before they are ready to go!

Final product will be anodized black.

No, the intake doesn't require one. The new wastegate will come with a retuned chip though.

Looks and sounds great! In that video you posted, I can't imagine that the intake alone accounts for the entire change in sound from stock... Is the improved wastegate you are also working on installed in this video - or is this what it would sound like if I only had the tune and intake installed?

That's the sound you get intake alone. Car has OEM wastegate currently.

Also, when is the Dyno coming out?

No, but we do expect to end the $109 intake intro price sometime next week. So be sure to order before then if you are planning on getting one. Nothing else is imminent for release. But a Stage2 upgrade kit will likely be the next thing we offer.

Sounds great, thanks for the fast response. I am debating getting this or waiting until the new wastegate comes out for better performance... However, the simplicity of the tune and intake is enticing. I'm new when it comes to modding turbo'd cars, how hard is it to replace/modify the wastegate components?

It's sort of a big pain in the ass and involves moving coolant lines, hard to reach bolts, etc. But on the plus side, the S2 tuning side is easy. You just swap the chip in the S1 with the included S2 chip and you're off and running.

Wow, talk about quick response! Haha. You convinced me, going to place my order now for the intake, might have to wait a week or so until I get enough for the tune though... Does this filter have to be oiled?

Terry thanks again!!!! Placed my order earlier and I already have a tracking number lol. Man you guys move fast.

Can you do me a favor? A lot of C250 owners are skeptical and looking for a dyno results. If possible (whenever u get a chance) to come over to MB forums and kind of chime in on the gains. Is the intake essentially giving you more top-end power? Low-end? or gains throughout the power band?

I really don't care, I love the sound in the video.

Here is a dyno we did of the intake prototype same day as the C250 Stage1 dyno testing. On this run we ran a slightly lower setting but even so made nice gains over the OEM intake at 4000rpm+. I'll get back there with the production version for a final dyno for the website in a week or so. But expect around 8-10rw in areas under the curve along with much better sound.
