Hey guys,

Great weather at Famoso today and the car is running strong. Our first run just happened to set a new world record for both MPH and ET stock turbo no nitrous, 11.3@125!

Later in the day on a harder launch the car ran 11.2@123. Another new ET record!

Mods are the same as the 8.57 60-130 VBOX times, only with a 30# lighter driver and straight race gas. All launches were done in 2nd gear as traction was limited as usual.

It's in the most aggressive setup we can come up with. 70 additive, MS109 + 100% meth, disabled map 3 auto tuning, etc. Here is a log from that run. Driver will try short shifting the next run to see if it helps.

Very clean! You have trunk tank or WW???? The wiper tank hold 100% meth or alky?

I just put 100% meth in the WW tank. There is a fire extinguisher in the trunk. Hope I never need it. For daily use I don't suggest running much more than 60-65% meth in the tank though just due to the elevated fire risks. And if you are concerned with engine longevity a little water in the mix to keep EGTs in check is always a good idea.

It's very unsafe as that is a critical part of the meth safety system. It monitors advance and lowers boost if advance is below 100% and/or drops are detected. But, at this level, we needed all the performance we can get and since it's running 105 octane straight race gas are not overly worried about engine safety. To disable you set FutureUseB = 100.

They launched the crap out of it last run. It's a bit warmer so MPH is down, launch probably didn't help, but how's 11.25 for a new stock turbo ET record?

That's so sick. I can't wait until I can get my car to a track and start practicing. It's good to know that mid 11's (at least) are in the realm of possibility with stock turbos and no nitrous!

Best I've ever done in the car is 1.60, its maybe possible. But traction is always mediocre at most at Famoso. Maybe during a private day with no fwd cars chewing up the track and VHT.

Sounds like you guys need to get an adjustable suspension in the back of that car and get a taller tire in so you can absorb more shock and decrease the gear ratio a little bit. Ever think of upgrading to a 28x11.5x17?

Yeah, I've done it before in other cars. The real holdup is the trans. Been too lazy to rebuild it and not sure the parts exist yet to do it right anyway. But the 26" hoosiers I've run before hook great. If it was a maximum effort I'd just put some 90/10s up QAIs up top, softer springs in the back, and maybe an airbag. But at some point we'd be crossing the line from street car to drag queen there.

Thats really fn awesome... This is the same car you just had on the dyno right? Sometimes I wonder if i should of gotten an AT because as much as roll ons is what i do 90 percent of the time, to have an 11.2 slip would be fn incredible !!!
