FLASH! 10-02-09 UPDATE:
Tonight at the track. Track conditions were bad, as it was 'run what you brung' night called 1320 Club -- when they don't prep the track at all, use the tree, but also arm drop on 2 lanes, and do not allow any water or water burnouts. About 85 degrees, humid, but a beautiful sunset.
First run: no nitrous, pitiful burnout, and tire spin: ET 11.47 @ 120.44 mph
Second run: 28-shot nozzle N20 next to meth nozzle: ET 11.364 @ 124.17 mph
Third run: hit nitrous button mid 3rd gear; 11.679 @ 122.76 mph
I'm going up a notch on the N20 jet next week and if it's cooler, try for the 10s. At least 125 mph. Engine with JB3 still holding air-fuel ratios at 11.7-12.2. I'm getting more confident.
JB3 and Terry's unmatched dedication to the N54: 11.154@124 MPH w/N2O (11.39 @ 124 MPH on street tires) ... 11.46@124 MPH w/meth only.
*Disclaimer: take my opinions for what they are worth. Usually, I don't know my butt from my elbow.
